Virginia’s transportation program continues to rapidly change. The impact of State Legislature’s approval of historic Transportation Funding in 2013 is bringing unprecedented changes to the Department and the Consultant Industry.

Managing and delivering the Commonwealth’s transportation program has taken on new meaning in the last few years. VDOT’s reliance on the industry to help deliver the transportation program continues to grow with the program.  Subsequently new initiatives, policies and strategies making the processes more efficient are being implemented. Rather than making business decisions on rumors and hearsay learn the facts directly from VDOT’s leadership, including Virginia Secretary of Transportation Aubrey Layne, Commissioner Charlie Kilpatrick and Chief Engineer Garrett Moore, about the details on Virginia’s goals and the strategies to reach them.

This year’s planned program topics include:

• Discussion with VDOT’s top leadership including Secretary of Transportation Aubrey Layne, Commissioner Charlie Kilpatrick and Chief Engineer Garrett Moore.
• Details on the Department’s effort to evaluate and prioritize projects for programming into the six-year plan and the role consultants will play to support it.

• Latest Policy Changes for Consultant Procurement
• Design-Build & P3 Program Delivery
• VDOT’s Engineering Division Updates
• VTCA Engineering Awards & Scholarship Presentations

Immediately following the sessions the Forum will close with a networking reception for all attendees.

Registration - Early Registration Ends September 18, 2015!

The registration cost includes all sessions, lunch and networking reception.  Prior to September 18 registration for VTCA members is $210.00 per person, and $260.00 for non-members (After September 18 the registration cost will be $260.00 per person for VTCA members, $295.00 for non-members).

Cancellation Policy:  Refunds, less a $25 administrative fee, are available when cancellations are received prior to the close of business September 30.  Cancellations received after September 30 are not eligible for refunds.  However substitutions will be allowed.
