Pete Kaplan of Wagman – “Rising Star of Safety”

Pete Kaplan, CHST, Project Safety Manager at Wagman Heavy Civil, was recently recognized as one of National Safety Council’s “Rising Stars of Safety.”  Kaplan is one of only forty honorees in the Class of 2015, which includes safety professionals from across the country.  Honorees were chosen based on improvements continuously made within their organization and new initiatives with measurable outcomes - key components of the National Safety Council’s “Journey to Safety Excellence,” a roadmap to build a safe workplace.  The Council adds that honorees “have a track record of demonstrating leadership, innovation and involvement in their organization’s safety culture while promoting continuous safety improvement in the workplace
