General Assembly Update

The Virginia General Assembly continues to tackle thousands of bills and resolutions. With the session almost half way over, action is fast and furious. While the focus still is on the budget and how to resolve the $4 billion shortfall in revenues, we are actively working on bills that impact our members. Attached is a comprehensive list of bills that we support, oppose or are just monitoring. They are broken down by categories: Environmental; VDOT; Funding; Constitutional; Weight Limits; Architects, Engineers and Contractors; Procurements; PPTA; Storm water; Employment; Wireless; Formula; and, Other.
