General Assembly Update

After lengthy discussion and one friendly floor amendment, the Senate passed its version of the Governor’s transportation package with all of the significant components in place.  The Senate vote was 34-6.  Because of some differences between the House and Senate versions, the bills will end up in a conference committee to work out the differences.
