GAS TAX INDEXING BILL TO BE HEARD ON WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday, February 8th at 9:00 a.m. the Senate Finance Committee is scheduled to hear SB 631 (Watkins, R-Chesterfield).  SB 631 provides for indexing the gas tax so that it will keep up with inflation. VTCA worked with Senator Watkins to draft and introduce this bill.  If you live in or have business operations in any of the Committee members’ districts, please e-mail or call them today and let them know that you support SB 631.
